School

They say school is a diamond of time An exquisite part of any select persons life But not mine School is a prison The bars keeping my ideas deep inside Tiny bits of escape Ideas bubbling to the surface But school ties a brick to them Sinking deeper Till it hits rock bottom You can only be held in prison for so long For most at least Just like prison, some have a death sentence Not making it out They lie in the shadows of achievers They waste away in their cells of sorrow Wishing they could accomplish what many have School is the make or break of society The only question is Will it break you too?
