Schattenspiel/ Shadow Play/ Juego De Sombras

Die Wandgemälde
Licht und Schatten im Zimmer
Vergängliche Kunst

In heller Nachmittagssonne
Stetig wandelnder Reigen

--------------------------------------

The wall paintings
Light and shadows in the room
A perishable art

In a bright afternoon sun
Constantly changing round dance

--------------------------------------

Pinturas murales
Luz y sombras en el cuarto
Un arte perecedera

En sol de tarde brillante
Constante cambio del corro

Incredible depth within this Tanka can be interpreted many ways but I do believe that to survive, all living things need the "Light", dear Gert! Awesome! Love, Audrey

It is not only that you paint, but being infested so with colors and light makes a psychological conversation certain. For what we fear to lose is beauty, and is it not the first causality of time? Beyond all conversation, you read like a consolation.

Interesting Tanka, Gert, that brings out the true beauty outside in nature, non perishable. Thanks for sharing. Best wishes, Caroline.
