wind whistles its cutting breath rudely intrudes through roof eaves trees trembling at its gruff voice scent of fallen leaves lost in fear 11/12/2019

Hi Eve, You described it very well. One does fear the inevitable when it's windy outside. Good content and imagery. I wish you the best of luck in the contest. Have a great evening:-) Alexis

Wind is rude sometimes specially in India in Summer. I can relate fallen leaves to shaky mud houses. Great imagery Eve.Love.

It is a pity that scented leaves fall prey to the scent of fear, Eve! Wind can be such a violent master! Hugs // paul

That's the way it has been around here the past two days, cold and gusty and making us fearful that a tree make come through the roof. Nicely expressed Eve, you captured the feeling perfectly.
