Scent of a Kiss

First kiss inhales your scent through nuzzled hair,
A whispered word of love awaits just there,
While soft lips embrace your succulent ear,
Like a gentle breeze upon the darkened air,
The warming arms that draw you ever near,
Inside the heart is shaking, not with fear
But with a passion that will not be bound,
For love has made our souls unite, my dear,
As we stumble slowly on to the ground,
And watch the stars of night move without sound,
Beneath the silent moon I call your name
To newer senses once lost but now found,
For love has come from nothing and nowhere,
To show my soul the time has come to care.
