And this echoes of many peoples experience Sara, a thought evoking write, We will only know The best once Jesus reigns, upon our plane of Life, although indeed He reigns now, the ether Is clouded by the deathly physicallity we know So much of, God bless and best for the season.'

Thank you, Joe, for the season's greetings. Yes, someday God will reign on earth like He does in some hearts today and at that time all our dreams will come true or if they were wrong dreams they won't matter. Sara K

Those somedays actually never come.. We only keep creating dreams but never taking actions to weave them in reality or many times our circumstances don't let us.. And then finally the hope & wishes get scattered to the wind.. I really like the design of this poem & how you've written this in such a captivating way.. Deeply resonating as well! When enthusiasm & desire fade, you've expressed this emotion so well!

the perfect title and structure that matches the message you're conveying. There's a sad reality to losing dreams, losing enthusiasm, etc., that comes as we each go through aging...it's tough on even the hardiest of us. I'm faving this one...enjoy your evening, Sara B

Getting old people say is not for sissys. so true I saw my mom shrivel away after two falls which resulted in huge bed sores, she was 84 years iof age when she passed. We all have our time and it will come but I Dont want to know when. my Dad did at 67 due to bronchial asthma. your poem is earth shaking almost a prophesy. So well written. I've been busy with Proto Personnel - have to cut myself in two! Hugs and blessings, Jennifer.

Yes, Jennifer, getting old is not for sissies. I had COVID a little over 2 years ago and I have gone downhill since then and can't seem to get back to where I was before. I had the kind that effected my stomach with vomiting and diarrhea, and I am still plagued with episodes. Thanks for dropping by and taking time to comment. Sara K

I love how your words look like they are drifting in the wind too. And how your words flow explaining drying of dreams when challenges get in the way and when enthusiasm slowly fades. I can imagine the pain, and health issues can be disheartening dear sara. This will do well in brians contest i think, sending you light always dear sara

A very creative way to do your verse poem.. I think we all think and worry about our age and how we will be in the future and you have captured that in your poem..

SO, aging is hard, scary, and definitely undisciplined. We do not know what the future holds but we know who holds the future. Thanks for dropping by. Sara K
