Scattered Thoughts Lost On the Wind

Smattering of oil on glass
in an iridescent sheen
Liquid crystal continents
in ancient wise men's dreams
Blooming candy winter grass
of lime and auberdeen
Settles underneath your feet
like pent up heat in summer steam
Wishes welling in your eyes
to perpetrate dismay
a tilt on words you've never dreamed
your lips would utter, say
Rolling, weighted thunder
to announce the storm at bay,
all conjure up pronouncement
and wash these words away...

(It isn't such a loss as they were silly anyway...)
