Scattered Clouds
Who can hold up Heaven with a spear stained in blood?!
The youth of yesterday lay deep in cold earth
scarred hearts beat lonely for love torn away
The wind blows scatter clouds
so the sun shines again
tears glisten
will love ever return
Turmoil and destruction stirring fear
blood flows like rivers
innocence disappears
Death eludes evil
while masses die for change
Marching as if thunder
armor outshines the sun
Battle for battle
armies make the earth shake
Lands without borders
only frontiers
Holding up my spear
can Heaven ever be whole
Crystal clear missiles split the night sky
the sword is clasped in dead hands
fire consumes the rage
Yearning for life evaporates in black smoke
the kings still rule, their lives untouched
Sacrifice the youth bleed till they die
while the old call for greater sacrifice
Justice is blind but evil sees
peace is but a luxury
A glimpse of hope smolders in the arms of love
new life sprouts green from pools of blood
I spike my spear into the ground
coolness of breeze dries my sweat
Exhausted with numbness
I fall to the ground
my fingers cling to my spear
I bow to Heaven
as it is written in that wind
scattered clouds
