Scars Untrailed

Scars so deep the trails, the trails are untraceable.
A smile, a smile that's been forced and faked more than once.

Voice, a voice that's been silenced so many times
I cant recall how I sound.

Me, I have endured more than I needed
to be served to me on a steel plate.
Look at me, the life in me has been yearning to be reborn again.

I am a woman born to be an individual that should stand firm and rooted.
Rooted to what she solely believes to be true.

I am caught up in a web of confusion and twisted emotions.
Lost in a maze of my own feelings.

I am gradually learning to find the connection between Me and reality.
