Scars and Stars

‘Scars and Stars’
One path untraveled, Souls intertwined, No destination in mind. Searching for truth unraveled, A gaze set to the stars, Missing you more with my scars. The last path is now traveled, Our souls no longer twined together, My last destination is yet before me, For I still need to say my final goodbye. I have found the truth this morning, My gaze no longer to the stars, My scars are faded like the memories of you, Stay safe, have fun, don’t miss me too.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Welcome to Poetry Soup. I welcome you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed. (Are you related to Joseph May, a poet here in the PS?)

To my knowledge I am not. I only recently found this site since I was wanting to get my poetry out there.
