Scars

A part of me is you
Fueled with passion
 Yet Wild and restless..
A part of you is missing
It's kept safe with me
The scar which you gave me
Has grown into
...a poisonous tree

Both of you still own parts of one another....the good, the bad, and the ugly. In the end we are left wondering, not just about the scar, but even more about the poisonous tree! Clearly it's memories and remnants of a broken relationship. #7 hugs // paul

Such pain and loss can seem beautiful from the right pen.

Wasn't expecting that last line. Possibly warm memories but tinged with darkness and a constant reminder ... the scar. Your poem is written in a way that it can be taken a couple different ways (depending on the reader) ... mysterious but not overly enigmatic. Well written, Red.

A mixture of emotions, you can say...I wrote this poem when I was so depressed...:(...memories can also effect your present state...

Very creative. Taking on the pain of someone else can be a painful experience. Well done :)
