Scars

Snow covers scars 
In the ground,
Smiles cover scars
Of the heart,
Lies cover scars,
Of the truth,
Like the one where
We would never part

The scars can heal,
And things become real,
And love is the engine,
To make it so...
And there's little question,
To me now,
This you already know...

There's so much ground,
To cover now,
And I can barely wait,
And where it leads,
And surely how,
I will leave to fate.
