Scarlet rose
Your colour reminds of
Fears I’ve known,
Fears i should’ve outgrown.
Scarlet rose
Why do you represent love and pain?
Untouched but stained
With your fragrance
Scarlet rose.
In the presence of your beauty
I froze;
Admiring
All you stood for
Beautiful
Scarlet Rose.
