Scared Is Not the End
Scared is not the end
Although I am scared
You must be terrified
Although I do cry
You must tremble
Although it is a risk
You will take it
Although it is hard
It is harder on you
Although I don’t want you to
You need to to make it right
Life is a hard life
And you’ve had it difficult
Love is hard to get
And you’ve got it all around you
And although we can not see you now
You’re memory is all we have
Of happy times we spent together
And grandkids you met
I no you read this poem
So many times before
But now the ending is different
As it was before
And we all thank you for the extra time
We all spend together
And now we look up at the stars at night
To all say good night together
Sweet dreams my dad and grandad
