Scare the Fear Away

Placing your heart on hold, for fear of feeling too much,
Distracting yourself with odds and ends, using them as your crutch,
When will you come face to face with what you feel inside,
When the crutch can no longer withstand the weight of the feelings that you hide,
Breaking down is scary when you no longer have control,
Trusting love is freedom from the chains that bind Your soul,
What if you let go of all your insecurities and doubts,
What if for a moment you forgot what they were all about,
Fear would change its course, and love would direct its way,
Peace would be in position, and scare the fear away.
