Saying Sorry

Our humblest moments
Are often saying sorry
They are a teaching moment
A moment of insight
We can both reflect
And work to change
Sometimes it's habitual
To apologize over and over
For the very same things
Lessons aren't always easy
And it takes time to learn
But honest effort shines bright
And how radiantly do we glow
When at long last
We learn how to live
Without saying sorry
When we learn how to live
Saying I'll be better
