Say Thank You
I helped you the other day
I fought to save you from yourself
Here I stood and today I fall
But some like you don't care at all
I bled in the streets
I survived the fight
I paid the price and paid it well
the job was done and it was back to hell
You can't see what i've done
you're blinded by selfish wants
I gave it all up again
and you can't even be my friend
Heroes die everyday
we lay beneath unmarked ground
here we lay unsaved and missing our due
all you had to say was a simple Thank You
