Say It Again

I remember how those words sounded so true
when spoken to me from you
it was my life and reason to live
but i guess what you said wasn't yours to give
even if it's a lie
i just have to know why
you said it to me and meant it so much
when you knew that this was the last time i would feel your touch
it hurts more than anything you know
to be robbed of your special warming glow
my hands can't seem to work and my eyes can not see through tears
my mind can't stop thinking of what i heard even after all these years
so for one more time be something more than just a friend
say I love you for the last time again
