Say Hello

Say Hello

                                  I walked the streets today,
                                           past rows of
                                   shuttered people hiding
                                         in their houses.

                                        Those still asleep
                                          or just afraid...
                                       to pull their blinds
                                         to meet the day,
                                       or greet a stranger's
                                                face.

                                        Faces aren't bad,
                                            you know,
                                        just to say hello.

Tucker, I enjoyed the way you formatted this. Yes, we must step out and say hello. Too long we hide behind the blinds.
