Saviour

Our saviour
The almighty
Sitting on his throne

Eyes narrow
Arms crossed
He's watching his people

His love
Our sins
Mix in his creation

Helping hand
Caring words
Still we taunt him

He crys
Knees weaken
Our saviour fights for faith

Our greed
We take
An eye for an eye

Our way
Our voice
Turn our backs

Minutes fly
Time passes
Evil blinded us

We realize
Strong regret
Fall to our knees

Some beg
Others plead
He shakes his head

Stern face
Black heart
Saviour no more
