Saving My Grace

My road is lit by night time dreams Searching for life's many blessings Walking through hopes many schemes As promises reach me caressing Embraced by a darkness wanting in Yes shattered by heartaches aplenty Looking for blame on another to pin I only craved one to love me gently Stated my case through my deeds Trials lived that can not be erased Traveling where my heart leads I'm forever trying to save my grace

I really do not think I could express it any more eloquently than that how Gordon has so ably expressed it -- rhymes beautifully, Poetess!! In fond affection. :) john
