Saved Soul
SAVED SOUL
Hey you, you got money
For this honey,
No, but need it ,
Take my watch,
It’s a swatch,
I need it now!
Not now, cops around,
Things are hot,
But need this pot!
Let’s be done
Then I’ll run!
And be gone!
People staring,
People gazing,
Heart is racing,
Want it now!
Ah, feels so good,
Think of home,
And my hood,
Mom and Dad
Took it too
Know that soon
I’ll be trash!
Mom and Dad,
Are now ash!
How long could
I last,
Look behind
At my past,
What am I,
I am high,
I’ve been bad,
Such a cad!
I need help
I am drowning
In a sea,
Of dissolution,
As I know
What will become
Of me!
Perhaps I should die,
Must be gone,
I feel high!
Walk to bridge,
On the ridge,
Arms reach out,
Grab me,
Next I see,
Bright lights,
Reach my soul,
Like burning coal,
Doctors, rushing all
So white,
Seem to want to
Put things right,
Nurses also
Safe my life.
From today,
Know now Want to
Be old and grey!
Who grabbed me,
Saved me,
It was He!
