Save Yourself

The sun has exploded,
but humans are long gone.

Some infinite creature
has stumbled across our
charred remains.

It has felt compassion.
A slip of the pinky finger.
Resurrection.

Why?

The being recalled
many trillions
of moons ago
when he was once
a man himself.

Hopefully they won't
mistaken their savior
for some kind of god.
