Save the State

Love is a state,
in a burning world,
with so much hate,
violence, and cruelty...
Angels fall...
to crumple those flames...
They struggle in pain,
but die in vain...
Their faces, their memory,
All fade away...
As if they were,
sentenced astray...
"The Prince" lives on!
He overtakes!
And history forgets,
but his name!
