Save Me, Someone

Save me, someone!
You don’t need a reason.
Save me, someone!
No matter the season.
Winter or spring or summer or fall,
I just want to escape from it all!
So save me, someone!
I’m getting a scare…

Save me, someone!
If you even care.

Save me, someone!
I’ve been thinking about you.
Save me, someone!
Stars have been winking without you.
I really don’t care how I’ll get away;
I just can’t stand it; I’ve been here all day!
So save me, someone!
Get me out of this place…

Save me, someone!
I need some more space.

If you don’t save me now,
I’ll die of starvation.
I’ll get germs from a cat
and some strange complications.
So please come and get me!
Don’t you neglect me.
So save me, someone!
It’s a waste of a pet…

Save me, someone!
Someone I’ve never met.

If my life were a musical, this song would be in it. "Save me, someone" would be sung by my cat when he was in his former house, which had too many cats. I imagine him looking out the window at night and singing this song.
