Save Me From This Ocean

Out there is a scary big black storm
In here is a wide stagnant ocean
What more can I ask for?
Than your angelic existence to transport me with caution

Over here is a narrow cave
In which am trapped
What I await is you to come, and save
Carry me away on your tender wings that flap

I don't know if you can see
The way my heart beats and my passion boil
But take me away from this stagnant ocean, save me
Pull me out on a flight to a lively soil

Poignant and pensive. You write from the heart, Shehu. How've you been? Hope you're keeping well.

To be saved from the ocean of death... and safely kept on shore...Love your lines. We all need to be saved sometimes.
