Notes About The Poem

King Abdullah has imprisoned his own daughters, you can find many videos on YouTube and documentaries on the web. This is what the Kingdom will do to their own family, flesh and blood, imagine how women there are treated, especially those there who dare to speak out. I fully understand geo political affairs, and that choices are not all black and white, however I have never understood the west’s embrace of Saudi Arabia, what ISIS does as terrorism, the Saudi regime does does even better as a State, have we not learned?

And oh the irony, enslaving ones own family, and yet.........

Saudi Kings

Pigs with wings
Woman with no rights

Allah strikes
behead the servants

Who pray tell imprisons children?
King Abdullah, King of chauvinists 

If a King sings his command
Women are dirt less than sand

The kingdom dances
Princesses dream and scream

Of days, where freedom rains
Washing away Saudi perversions

When you visit a Saudi king
I ask you, really, do not bow

Slap the old goat in the face
If dead spit on grave

I did not know this about their king. All I can tell you is that my Saudi students wept at the passing of their king when I was teaching them a few months ago. I went just now to research his life and scanning the biography, I saw that he approved of public beheadings of those who supported terrorism. I guess i am confused about who this man is who has given more rights to women than they used to have in Saudi arabia but also who still uses cruel punishments! Interesting poem.

To be brutally honest, I do not know. It seems when we try to do anything we get kicked in the butt, and if we dont do anything, we get blamed for not acting. It just makes me sad all the suffering going on in the mean time. Also I surely appreciate how well we do have it here, in comparison.

A great poem. However this much truth is hard for many that are so PC to take. To me this great truth sings a melody and shines its light as a beacon! A7 and truly deserves a 10 IMHO.. Ever notice how those that scream women's rights the loudest always give the worst offenders(muslims) a break ?

Again, there is that truth which will upset many. Yet it needs to courageously be stated over and over again IMHO. Suicidal but at what hands? Those that plan on world domination pray on rugs and terrorize their opposition. Truth, can not be defeated..
