Saudade
A nostalgic feeling drowns my spirits
As I stare longingly at scalloped purple horizons
Tacenda that hurts deepest core
Of my lamenting soul
Our small castle of love
Swept abruptly in abluvion
My broken skies still yearn
For quiddity of the saudade
The outlines of him
Surreal
In my dream that brought to me my wild longing
I opened eyes to see
Silhouettes of memories slipping to oblivion
All promises of tomorrow
Frozen in frigid space of today
I had home in your arms
I breathed there in your fragrance
There were times I missed my childhood sunsets
Then you offered me your twilights
Then I fell for the stars
I could see shining in your eyes
I had slowly stopped spending my thoughts
On my moments of euphoria of my past
For you were the only one
Who started making me feel alive
In my each blinking seconds
You had the magic to heal my scars
With your softest words of embrace
But the storm rose
All tides washed away your footprints
That I followed in limerance
We were so near to perfection
And when silence dethroned storm
I frantically searched for you
It's been a year
And I am still longing
To go back to your arms
For that is my home
Controlling my cries to tremble hard with my silent sobs
A dream that broke me again tonight
For difference between fantasy and realism has vanished to nowhere
