Listen to poem:

Saudade

I Remember the mountains and sea. While we stood close on the praia and your lips like sweet abacaxi, fueled our passions and desires. When you took me by the hand, in an instant, my heart was yours and no matter how far we're apart our love forever will endure. Now that miles stand between us and time is time we spend apart, we both look towards amanhas to feel the juntos of our hearts. Until I see you and can hold you, my heart will never be as free and with a whisper on my lips ......I say to you Saudade

Absolutely beautiful. A very moving piece although some words are strange to me. Sort of like when I was young and had this boyfriend who spoke French to me. I said I have no idea what you just said but it sounds nice. Great job. God Bless, JB

Jerry, I am now having to look up three words, for although I know many, I do not know these: saudade, praia and abacaxi. I am intrigued by the poem, and especially by the wor ABACAXI as I am a scrabble player, so if I get these letters exactly, there is a good chance I can make 200 points off of it if I put it in the right corner. A very interesting poem, my friend. Thanks for stopping by today.
