Satisfying Sounds

Satisfying sounds like rain on a tin roof
Or a distant cadence striking the ear
Can calm the spirit and soothe the soul
Anticipating something clearly yet unseen
The purpose unknown raising expectations
Of pure enjoyment and simple pleasure
A good night's sleep or homecoming parade.
