Sated
lazy, long afternoon
preening sphinx-like
catches a stray scent
aha! dinner!...
stealth-creep
agonizingly slow,
'til, target in sight
she springs...
afterward, sated
lightly licks
the corners
of her whiskers
curls back into
her no-hammock
