Sassy's Prerogative
Cosmo confused for it's been awhile
for Sassy won't play with him no how
He jumps at her in happy delight
whimpers and whines with all his might
Tail wagging and a happy face
cold shoulder puts him in his place
Cosmo than bites her on the back of the neck
she goes under a chair but quick
He barks and barks to no avail
Sassy ignores him still
He looks at me to ask why
were you mean to her I reply
You bite her too hard can't feel good
so she ignores you like a girl would
Be nice to her treat her right
and she will play with you instead of fight
Over a week and Cosmo seemed sad
did he finally realize he was a boy being bad
But the morning was cool and the air crisp
and Sassy jumped at Cosmo like giving him a kiss
They chased each other and played fight
tug a war with toys each gripping tight
Rolling on the grass growling and happy bark
they played and played with a renew spark
Exhausted the two lying side by side
swear each grinning with smiles mile wide
Cosmo happy he let out a loud yelp
Sassy barked in a joyful shout
Two silly dogs now friends again
with happy dogs it's always win win.
