Sasquatch

I'm convinced I saw a ghastly creature in the mist While I was driving along a bleak country road, A Sasquatch several yards ahead shaking its fist Cloaked in the gray fog, as frightened I slowed. While I was driving along a bleak country road The creature crashed through the underbrush Cloaked in the gray fog, as frightened I slowed, The unsightly apparition gave me quite a rush. The creature crashed through the underbrush Leaving behind a stench, the malodor of death The unsightly apparition gave me quite a rush For a moment I could scarcely catch my breath. Leaving behind a stench, the malodor of death, Big Foot blended into the distant undergrowth For a moment I could scarcely catch my breath, Quickly I surmised our presence scared us both. Big Foot blended into the distant undergrowth A Sasquatch several yards ahead shaking its fist, Quickly I surmised our presence scared us both I'm convinced I saw a ghastly creature in the mist.

If this is so, we'd smell him before we'd see him. Either way, I can live without catching a glimpse of the one. Great end rhymes.

I'd say so, Jenna. Frankly, I don't believe in this mythical creature. I can't imagine how such a distinctive humanoid could exist without anyone ever having gotten a really good picture. Thanks!

Whenever I hear "Sasquatch" it reminds me of the original movie "The Time Machine" Warlocks lived beneath the ground and ate humans" So, I never want to come face-to-face with Big Foot (lol) Well-done Pantoum, Milt. Great timing for the season!

Love this Milton ironically this happens to many witnesses that are overcome by this creature. Your Poem is terrifying for what I believe is truth based on my research. Too many people have seen him thousands actually. Steve Isdahl of How To Hunt.com has millions of views on his Bigfoot channel with thousands of sightings he shares from witnesses. To his viewers. Truth is always stranger than fiction. Well done my friend and a favorite. Milton I am taking some time off the soup from posting and commenting. I will be back when I feel better health wise. Keep your thoughts coming and I will try and catch up when I come back. God bless you and thank you for your many Poems that are a joy to read...

a hint of suspense spices up this text, you see the car, the road in the mist, a creature that suddenly appears... very cool, Milton!

I think everyone would secretly like to see "Big Foot," Marco. But, for the Sasquatch to suddenly appear would be equally frightening to everyone. Thank goodness, this is fictional.

Could've been...but, then, I don't have a shower in my car, Jeff. Thanks!
