Sarcastic

I was told I was sarcastic But I’m not made from plastic So I’ll say it clear and loud Of the sarcasm I am proud I wouldn’t be so contrite If we did things freakin’ right While working with eyes shut And our nose up someone’s butt. How could I possibly be sarcastic When everything seems so drastic My sarcasm is through frustration Guess where I get my inspiration Sarcastic? How could that be I’m just describing what I see Everyday I feel more dazed But I’m also totally amazed My headaches keep accruing Does anyone know what they’re doing Did I leave my mind back there I’ve seemed to lost it somewhere I promise I’ll watch what I say If I see something right someday.

Happy New Year, Vince!! Sarcasm feels to be alright. Certainly more easily heard and intergrated than a shout, or a bonk on the snout? Wonderfully done, Vince!:) Blessing to you and yours...Mikki

hi Vince, this write screams to what you are feeling, just take things in stride, we write what we are, and how we feel, and if it hits someone the wrong way, or they don't raed us the cprrect way, then it is still okay, thanks for your comments, and never apologize for the way that you may feel, take care D-nyce

Well what is our other option if nothing we see is right and then people complain, but nothing happens? :S Sarcasm sometimes is a relief for it helps us share a laugh instead of sitting around with grumpy faces =D Thank you for the warm comments...tc...Sara...

Vince; I doubt anyone knows where they're going or doing for that matter. "Some people think they found the way, but they're a dime a dozen, you see them everyday." (A line from a song by a group called Savoy Brown)

Nothing wrong with your insight or your voice. I think you already know that. Keep writing, you do it so well. Couplet is a hard form, at least for me, but you are an expert. I always enjoy reading your work. Thanks!

You should be proud of your sarcasm - we are! Seems like it is one thing after another. How can we live without it's dark humor? Better to be sarcastic then bombastic - well, it rhymes. Yes, I've got the headaches, too. Great poem. Feels like we've all just about had it. Hang in there. Love, Shar

lol Vince this is great. So true. I guess patience brings knowledge. Sometimes we are human and our emotions get the better of us. But Vince you are an educated man with a caring heart and I know that for you to be sarcastic someone must have done something terribly wrong. Anger cause us to die earlier bring our imune system down and many negative things. I know I was the way your describing until I gave up my life for christ and even know it flares up from time to time but I have more love in

Have they been reading your poetry at work? If they had read some of this pieces you have written they would have figured out what I realized from one reading. lol.. I always thought that your words lightened the mood. Keep the tongue rolling so that it can shine a light on their lives.

*giggle* I got a laugh out of this one, great writing! LOL My husband would really love this, he gets accused of the same thing. The good thing about sarcasm though, is it keeps us real. One thing you can count on from my husband is the truth, he calls it like he sees it and doesn't back down, while others are candy coating he is bring it back to reality, keeps everyone balanced! :) Loved it. Your friend, Amy :)

But at the rate things are going on all around the world, Vince, I'm afraid you will wait eons before you wake up to a day when you - and everybody else for that matter - will finally be able to stop and watch what you say. No, I'm not being sarcastic, just realistic. Regards, Fred
