Sarang Song
a lonely vessel
of timber and twine
adrift a serpent
of galactic black
fireflies of light
are the reflections of the stars
sable banks
smell of the wildness it hides
the flicker of a flame
the hiss and pop of tobacco
bluish smoke rings
reaching for the heavens
a face cast in shadow
hints at the self satisfied smile
of one who knows
what it is to be free
if love had wings
his craft would fly
