Sarah

I knew little of children They frighten me But as one grew inside of me My anticipation grew as well Bothersome yet, playful She'd sleep for hours It drove me mad Always thinking the worst I talk and sing To this child of mine A face I had not yet met But a name I gave Sarah-The Strong And my princess To this world she came screaming And scared to death I was trembling Also scared to death They gave Sarah to me Clearly dazed, I questioned How do I keep from breaking her And what do I do next We'll get through this Together Sarah M.
