Sara, Sara

Sara-Sara…
She is so smart, ‘She can beat all the crew’ they said,
As you were playing video games in the cabin one day.
Your mother, her face glows-when she says your name.
And your dad has a sparkle that appears in his eyes—
More than any gold he could ever find.
An adorable little girl--grew up to be a Wonderful Woman.
Cooking and feeding peoples souls for a living…
I hope you find the best of things in this world,
In places you go and people you meet.
When you think the world looks dim just remember-
The crazy lady who sometimes tucked you in.
Keep a look out for those Ninja Turtles,
I still see them from time to time.
They peak through the trees and smile at me,
Reminding me of a simple fun summer that
Two silly girls just played in puddles.
