Santa's New Chair
You jolly old man who's travelled all night.
Come sit and rest awhile, I'm sure it will be alright.
You've distributed toys
to all those girls and boys
Now come take a seat,
and rest your weary feet.
I'll rock you awhile and a melody sing,
You may fall asleep while the Christmas bells ring.
And when you awake
you can have a piece of cake.
And when you arise
There will be a big surprise.
Yes Santa, look to the right.
What an amazing sight.
For sitting over there,
Is your brand new chair.
I've been here for years,
and there's no need for tears
Now I can take a rest,
And still serve your guest!
