Notes About The Poem

Santa's New Bride

Mrs. Claus Up and died She was tired Santa looked Googly eyes Twenty-fives Santa wed Died in bed Really dead?
I did syllable check and looked up lines one and nine. Mrs. has two syllables the way I pronounce it. I did a syllable checker online and it agrees. I pronounce really as real ly but the dictionary has it looking like three syllables but it is only pronounced as two.

Nette, We did bar-be-que this Christmas. We have done that several years now. I buy it from a store that does this every year as a money maker. I did some peanut brittle and some brownies. I have got where I am not able to do what I once did. Sara

Jan, I thought about this one ..My father at age ninety-one was in the car with us going somewhere. He saw a man walking down the street and said, "Look at that old man walking straddled -legged for he has one leg in the gave and another on a banana peel.".Sara
