Santa Is Coming
Same house, different look;
Santa is coming light is here,
How all now wears cap of gold,
Even tree unnoticed yesterday!
Today I will pick one and eat
From wallnuts that mama sets aside
With candle light glowing on them
To count the arrival of Santa Claus.
Hours now she stays in cellar
Searching for the scrolls of age
"On the first day of christmas...",hers,
" Let it snow, let it snow..." is mine.
And when Santa comes
And lays at door step his gift
Like a newly lay egg in brood
Mama shall sing, I shall.
On the first day of christmas...
Let it snow, let it snow...
La la la, la la la, la la laaaaaa...
