Sands of Time
Of 2020 I awoke
A storm arose the desert spoke
A wailing sound, a red light
Morning noon or night
A path filled with cobbled stone
Separating sky an empty space
A sound of silence, echoing embrace
A lone piper fills his pipe with air
A melody so sweet, filling hearts despair.
A new key fitting into a old year
Fireworks burst and bloom in flowers
The sky flying it’s flag in white
Covered now with peace’s light
A brand new kaleidoscopic canvas
Painted in moods and colours
An ever-changing point of view
Sands of time, blowing with the breeze
Finding my oasis in the recess of soul with ease.
