Sandles

Just walking a path
through the woods...

Came upon
   soft sloppy mucky mud
   engulfing the path ahead
Offering no pity
for me in sandals.

As so be life
   randomly unaccommodating
dropping dilemmas
   with no clear alternatives
   with no regard
for how well-prepared
   one would be
   or, not...

Offering no pity
for anyone in sandals.

... thank you Darlene! Sometimes I wish all of my life could be spent just wearing sandles! Oh well.
