Sand On the Shore of Stars

We follow light
To come out of the darkness
We enter darkness
To hide from the light
We are the dawn and the dusk
We are the fathoms of grey
That stand like shadows in-between
The place of mourning
And joy of love
Composing frontiers of never knowing
From where we have come
To ultimately find our peace
Our only solace
Is in the grain of sand 
On the beaches of eternity
In the cosmos of our being
Searching for God
