All my real and exaggerated infractions Over the years you meticulously engraved in stone But your moral indiscretions against my soul I recklessly and occasionally scribbled in the sand The storms we weathered in our years of marriage Kept erasing all your faults without a trace But mine became more distinctly etched with time Until there was no forgiveness left 9/2012 Copyright
