Sanctuary in the Storm

The flame dances in the candle's final hours,
In the heart of a snow-laden cabin,
Winter's breath whispers through the shingles,
The wind sings a song of the cold night.

We gather by the dwindling light,
Each flicker a spark of our hidden desires,
In the warmth of this fragile fire,
Our hearts ignite with silent passions.

The storm outside rages, relentless,
Snowflakes weave a tapestry of white,
The cabin creaks under nature's weight,
But within, we find a different storm.

Peace, elusive and gentle,
Is born in the eye of our tempest,
A place of stillness, carved from chaos,
Where even the wildest winds cannot intrude.

In the heart of the storm, we find our sanctuary,
A state of mind, a refuge within,
As the candle burns its final breath,
We understand that peace is ours to hold.
