Sanctuary
Coming under siege
I got to find a sanctuary
somewhere safe for my family
somewhere where there is no entry
for a greedy land lady
fear of failing my family
has grown overwhelmingly
how can I put it gently
I’ll be damn
if this person thinks
to impose a threat on me
I’ll be the threat
when I am angry
the stand will be imminent
damage will be permanent
the average person can reflect
after a crucial incident
but we all must be patient
for the good in us all
don’t let anybody make you fall
be stronger than it all
