Sanctuary

"We live in a time of chaos,
not only in a world of wars,
but the war within one's self."


My mind has too many negative thoughts.
It's too noisy for my muse to be heard.
I've created a sanctuary of calm.
A place within where my soul can dwell.
I removed the harsh realities of hell.
Turning my back on my clamorous mind,
I sweep away the clutter and noise.
I can now foster my creativity within,
Embracing my reborn muse once again.
