Sanctified

Warmed by your flame I’m sanctified,
the glow waxes as the scent drifts by;
A moment bathed in soft firelight;

Your eyes licked by blazing firelight
with an immaculate kiss sanctified;
Held eternally an instant sails by;

Hearts merge as falling stars race by
every past hour crackles with firelight;
In mere seconds they’re sanctified;

Together we are sanctified by firelight.
