Samy Lings

The business of life
The pressure
The stress

Dissipates within a second
As you amble the path
To pure breathlessness

So calm and still
Everyone welcome
Arms held within

Like an Angel
Allowed to fly
That's the beauty of Samy ling

A quiet room
To pray and give thanks
If you wish to do

The beauty of silence
Takes society out of me
And I'm taken to you

A place where possessions
Care not a thought
Nor place

Where anyone
Can be themselves
No colour, no race

One day out of my week
I find myself here
And still

The beauty and tranquillity
Will stay with me
Until

I venture the winding roads
A country
Every sun should see

Samy Lings
With my daughter
And me
