Samson

Betrayal and the Love of money was paid for Jesus life 
30 pieces of silver and a kiss
Betrayal and the love of money
was paid for Samson’s secret
His head was shaved because 
he gave up the secret of his strength
then God left him 
Momentarily 
Delilah was paid well so was Judas 
Love of money is the root of all evil

But there is a But somewhere in the story
there has to be a But you know
We always hope
His eyes were scooped out 
Samson was blind and helpless 
Samson could not see tomorrow 
But God saw it for him
Alone powerless humiliated
His betrayal taunted him day and night
But his hair was growing again
Because God never forgot him

Samson was chosen to do a job
And with his strength returning 
With each growing hair
With his arms outstretched
Seeking redemption
His enemy rejoicing in his misery
With a head full of hair he finished his job 
as did Jesus
