for the shortest while, eternal,
as an enigma of the epitome
of quiet beauty,
dewy, serenely white petals
as its oblation, its gratitude,
its prayer,
as it beams, blushes, blooms,
Sampaguita, fragrant,
eternal, for the shortest while!
